ramble on about..

Hello.

I don't think I can be a vegetarian. YET. Because my family said I'd have to make my own veggie meals if I wanted to. And since I almost failed home economics, I can't rely on myself to keep me alive and fed. But I'd actually 'Pledged to Be Veg for 30 Days' on one of the many vegetarian websites I went to. One of the websites I remember is Young Veggies or something along those lines. They had 'easy' recipes, advice on how to answer questions that others would ask quite a lot and some other stuff for teens.

So now, I probably belong to MEAL(Meat-Eating Animal Lovers). I feel slightly psycho right now.

And umm.. I accidentally ordered a vegetarian starter kit, which will come in about 2 to 4 weeks' time. I didn't know it was gonna be delivered here by mail! Ah well, at least it was free.. Err.

Anyway, today I went for some Road Safety Training stuff. It was horribly, disgustingly lame and boring. Hmm, maybe it was just the speaker. He was wasting so much time by having quizzes and making lame jokes. My group was quite unresponsive throughout the talk, but my teacher said we were 'generally well-behaved'. Hehe. Our squad was the only one not wearing something NPCC-related - we were in our TKGS school uniforms while squads from other schools were in their NP uniform or in PE t-shirt and track pants. The girls who were in their NP uniform had their skirts at their knees. Well, that just made me feel like our uniform was slutty or whore-ish. Haha. But maybe they hadn't had time to alter theirs? Okay not a very good excuse.
I think we might have made TKGSNPCC look a little bad because we were very slack and when we fell in, we were fidgeting and talking and laughing. Oh, Haifaa's the new squad IC! ..I think? Maybe it was just for today, but I always knew she would take on some important role in the squad.

After we got the road safety training over and done with, we went back to school and then headed for Parkway. Only about 5 of us went to have lunch but it was quite nice. At around 2, I left and went to the library at Jurong East to borrow 3 Malay books for my stoooooooooooooooopid ulasan buku.

I have never read an entire Malay book before how am i supposed to do that?! And yes, not even a siri kanak-kanak. Well, except for Bawang Putih Bawang Merah, which is very merepek.
You know, I should be reading more Malay. Maybe I should find some really good Malay literature or that kind of thing. Okay as if I would have a clue on what the author's rambling on about.

I'd better get some homework done by today or I might be awake till 3 a.m. the night before school reopens. I need to wake my mom up in 5 minutes' time, anyway.

Byeeee.

P.S. I'll be a veggie when I have mastered the art of using the stove.
