Hi all.

I have been blessed with a little break from the usual monotony of the holidays. Sunday was CIP for Project Inspire, which TKGS NPCC is taking part in. I'm not very sure what it's all about, but we went house to house collecting donations for The Straits Times' School Pocket Money Fund. It was more of fundraising, actually, than merely collecting money. We were trying to sell these tickets for some dance concert at Hwa Chong on the 12th or 13th. They were eight dollars per pax. As expected, people refused. But we had back up! Little teddy bears with limited movable limbs went for 3 bucks. Some people didn't want anything and just gave money. Fine by me, I guess.

Some of Empyrean went to grab lunch at Suntec afterwards. In my opinion, it was a stupid decision. We didn't know we'd have to walk quite a long way to get there from City Hall MRT and it was really just depressing when we couldn't find the fast food outlets. It probably took us half an hour to get to Burger King and eat.

Almost everyone left after lunch, but Fiqo, Syadza and I hung around till 6. We randomly walked into the Home Team Exhibition just cos it seemed like a cool idea at that point. You know, NPCC and Civil Defence.. totally related stuff right. We got to sniff blister agents and weird stuff and take stupid photos and then when we got bored we went to the comments wall and told everyone that TKGNP was there. Oh, and we got free pens which had some info you could pull out. Almost helped us cheat for the Civil Defence course yesterday, but there was no need for that since the sirs were giving us all the answers. Uh huh.

I think I will write about the CD course in another post, just cos I feel like it.
