I'm not hooked on drugs, I'm hooked on you

HELLO HELLO HELLO.

I'm back from my grandma's! I've been staying there since Wednesday because I had my SANA course the next day and as we all know, Sengkang is so much nearer to Redhill than Jurong. But I miscalculated the time it would take to get there and ended up being 20 minutes early. Luckily Syadza had also miscalculated and had been stoning all alone for a while too. The community hub where SANA was held was just across the street so even though we left the station at 8 20, we were still safe. Oh, and it was Syawqina's birthday too that day! I gave her a hug and a Cadbury boost, which she later confessed she didn't exactly like. :(

The course was pretty interesting as a whole. There were four companies - Alpha, something starting with B, Charlie and Delta. I was in Charlie and seated right at the front cos we were supposed to sit in the order tall at the front, tallest at the back. We were grouped according to our rows so I was in Charlie 1 with the rest of the short people(except for Syawqina). The first talk was by a CNB officer who seemed like a bit of a sadist and had difficulty pronouncing his R and L. His stories were quite funny lah actually and he gave us hints(or answers) to the test we were gonna have later that day. There was a snack break after the talk and then some more lectures/videos. I can't really remember everything that happened now, but I know there were quite a few toilet breaks. Then there was lunch. They released TKGS second last so I asked the Malay instructor who was dismissing us what happened to 'ladies first' and he said that rule didn't apply at SANA. We ate sitting in our squad formation, can you believe it? And the food wasn't too nice that day. We mugged a little for the quiz after eating.

After lunch was the test. It was actually quite easy, but the true/false questions were a little worrying. According to Darren's blog we watched a video afterwards, but I really can't remember. Then we had our role-playing and all the companies were separated. I still either cringe or smack my forehead whenever I think about my group's performance. For the first half of the performances, this Victorian(I think) chose the order of the groups. Second half, I chose. The instructor in charge of Charlie was so bloody irritating. She made what she thought were witty comments here and there. And once, this guy said, "I am a woman" and she went on to correct him, saying, "Uhh. It's a wee-man not woo-man." So idiotic manzxsxz.

After that Alpha, B, Charlie and Delta reunited and they gave out prizes. Charlie 8 won best performance. They deserved it lah, although I think they had the most time to prepare. And then the results for the quiz. The instructors were joking about what you had to do if you got full marks. They said you had to go up and shake Alan's hand, get the prize and hug. And someone cleverly said you had to kiss too. And Alan, being Alan, started whining, going "Cannoooot! Later pregnant lah!" Sigh. Alan, Alan.

Two people got full marks and were awarded prizes as promised. I was one of them. Hahaha. The Malay instructor I mentioned before read out Cadet Ayesha Bte Jumari and when he saw me stand up, he went "Ahh, the vegetarian girl" Hah, I always manage to attract attention with this. The prizes they gave were kind of impractical. Especially the binoculars, oh my god. What do they expect me to do with it? Spy on drug-abusers? Sheesh. But it's okay. I still won something! And nope, I did not hug/kiss Alan. Don't wanna get myself pregnant now, do I?

That was the end of the course and they released TKGS first, because I got full marks. TKSS (Tanjong Katong) was second cos a boy from their school got full marks too. And the Malay instructor said "Now you've got your ladies first".

After we changed, we went down to the field and sabo-ed our birthday girl! We threw flour on her and each other, ran around the field, got shouted at by the Malay instructor to stop dirtying his field and go home(not sure if he was joking or not), attempted to light candles for Syawqina's muffins, failed and took photos. Then we dusted off and headed to Mac's at Compass Point.

Iskandar, Darren, Nabil and someone else were there. Syaf and I finger painted each other's faces with the left over flour, then had Adela accompany us to wash up after giggling stupidly(okay maybe only me) and taking more pictures. And here's the best part. We walked past Iskandar's table while on the way out and said hi to him. He turned and we immediately threw flour on him. HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. And then we ran off. In the toilet, Darren sms-ed me asking why I didn't sabo him too so we were planning to do just that when we came back. Turns out they all made a run for it just moments before we got to Mac's. Haiyo.

K then we went home.

End of very very long story.

Byebye.
