did you find your fear?

Hi!

Syadza and I spent a whole day scouting around Bugis today. We watched My Sister's Keeper and to my surprise, I didn't leave the cinema with much to hold on to. It wasn't really a movie to make an impression on me. You know, I don't even remember the plot well at this point! It was a disappointment, but oh well.

We walked around after the show, bought a couple of things. Then we headed to Haji Lane, which was really the part that I was lookng forward to most the whole time. I didn't get anything, except maybe annoyed that the black skirt I got for my birthday, the one with gold studs, was selling for only 28 at the shop directly in front of Sup. I got mine for 49 for god's sake! >:( But upon closer inspection, I found that the cheaper ones had studs falling off and were made of not-so-nice materials. Muahahaha fail. In yo face, you cheap-asses!

Things that made me feel good today:

1. Rachel and Mabel from Cosmic and Victoria Jomo both remembered moi! Yay I'm memorable! I thought she was just being friendly when she said hello, but then Rachel started asking how I was, how the bag was, how my mom was. Mabel was all hello again and stuff.
2. Rachel has cute guy friends.. who smell of cigarettes, says Syadza.
3. Victoria Jomo's making more shoes in the style I've got cos it's apparently pretty popular. Eggcited to see what other colours they'll be having! Oh and if they make another batch with longer wearing soles, please thank me thank you. Heeheeeheeeee. Victoria Jomo's shoe collection's so awesome. I tried walking around in one of her heels today. Felt so tall for once.
4. I got a belt in a pretty turquoise colour from Cotton On for below ten bucks!
5. I finally got new tights to replace the ones my mother totally ruined.
6. Prata across the street from Masjid Sultan was yummmm :D
7. I liked the company <3
8. Long bus ride home was cool. Like literally.

On a different note, OH MY GOD SCHOOL'S ALMOST OVER! I feel so uneasy about this. There's this nagging little feeling that I've got stuff to settle first. Argh life is so disorganized without my mom here. Ironic much?

Kay I shall clean up my clothes-strewn floor and bed now and get some rest.

Gooooodnight!
