you're like the feather in my hurricane

The first day of school wasn't a comfortable event. For one, I rubbed a blister into my right heel even before I reached the Paya Lebar bus stop this morning. I hate shoes which make you feel like you'd be doing yourself a favour if you chucked them off, set them on fire and walked away. My whole body was also in pain for having to sit through the usual admin talks, all of which I couldn't tune in to.

Then there's the discomfort between new classmates. We were pretty standoffish today.. And awkward. We're still in that 'eh excuse me(cos I haven't bothered to ask your name), it's your turn to check your particulars in the file' phase. It's so embarrassing, but at least I had quite a few people I knew in 3/4. I'm kinda happy that there's actually 15 Malay girls in the class, but I realise this is quite a racist thing to feel hahaha. The class party/bonding session is tomorrow and I'm bringing a bag of Calbee Hot & Spicy! Yum. It's gonna take a lot to keep away from that bag tonight.

Lessons, campcraft training.. they're starting on Wednesday. This is disgusting. Campcraft's gonna be everyday and I don't doubt that we're going to suffer, so 'til the competition in February or March or whatever I don't know, don't expect anything out of me other than lots of eating, sleeping, trying to stay awake long enough to get homework done, and an awesome toned body :B

I'm gonna try to be content with this lifestyle for a while.
