sometimes lonely hearts they just get lonelier

Hi!

It's been a nice Saturday. I spent the afternoon with my mom. We went to Jurong Point for Starbucks and film for my camera, and then we took the MRT to Chinese Garden just two stops away. It started raining just as we were pulling into the station, so we went to Cheers and came out with a... PINK UMBRELLA!

Yeah then we walked around the place while it rained, um, not very heavily and I took some pictures with my camera. I have no idea if the pictures are any good, but we shall see! I was guilty of committing a few of the mistakes this website listed as one of the most common mistakes you'd make your first few times.

Basically, right after I got the film I wanted to take a picture of my mom, so I pointed the camera at her. Then I decided I'd take one later cause we were walking through this busy place and couldn't really stop. So we started walking again and I learnt that "the lens cap was still on anyway". Also, there were a few times where I forgot to wind the film after a shot and ended up creating all these double -or for all I know, multiple- exposure pictures. I just srzly hope they still look nice anyway, especially this one I took of a monkey bench which then got fused with a horse bench! The benches was so cuuute goddammit! If only it didn't rain so I could have sat on em :(

You know, I wish film wasn't so expensive. A single roll, which takes up to 36 photos, can strip you of $5.50 just like that. Maybe I might be willing to part with $16.50 a month. I'll think about it.
