insipidity

Hi.

Both yesterday and today have been amazingly lazy thus far. I keep telling myself that I'm just trying to recover from the exhaustion of a two day camp followed by two days of walking around town with friends, but we all know I'm just too much of a pig to go sort out my homework.

I spent Wednesday with Filzah, Fiqo and Maya walking round Somerset and Orchard. It was Ion > 313 > The Heeren > Wisma > Ion > Wheelock > Lido > Home. I think I was like really moody for the most part of the outing and I'm sorry, you guys! But Lido + Camwhoring + Syafiqah's butch hair kinda cheered me up again :)

I also stayed up till 5 a.m. attempting to make a vest out of this coat I found that night after raiding my mother's closet. It was more main hentam than anything, really, and I seriously doubt I'll actually bother to continue working on it after this. Another item I found in my mom's closet was this shift:

HAHA it's actually a maternity dress. And it's one of the dresses she wore while she was carrying me in her.

On Thursday, I had to wake up early to send my grandparents off to Indonesia. I'd only gotten 3 hours of sleep, so it was a rather grouchy morning. After that we went to Soufi's place for lunch and then she and I left for Haji Lane. We tried on stuff, went into almost every shop we could, and I left with a pretty floral dress from The Blogshop. We went to Bugis Junction after that and Soufi managed to get herself a dress too.

We MRT-ed to Somerset after that, and went to sit outside 313 while we finished our fries. Omg and sitting right there, was this hot-ass boy in a leather jacket smoking on a cigarette in this unusually sexy way and Soufi and I practically melted all over each other. We did the mandatory after that: walk through F21, Zara, Cotton On etc. Soufi got herself this pretty F21 skirt, and then we went for ice cream! We ended up at that Marvelous Cream place and shared a cup between us.

We went to Cineleisure to walk around some more after that. We took all the postcards/ little zines that they give out for free at the shops there and Volta has this really amazing lookbook. But it's a menswear store so :( Rockstar is a really pretty shop. It's apparently by Soon Lee, a shop on Haji Lane that I really like but is so expensive, which makes it even more interesting. We randomly took the lift after that and ended up outside Timezone. At first we thought we'd just sit there and rest for a while, but the Guitar Hero consoles lured us in anyway. I think we spent like 12 bucks on only Guitar Hero?! Hahahaha but I had so much fun! I need to just like spend a day at the arcade with somebody sometime soon. We parted ways after that, and I ended up going to the right bus stop, then to the wrong one, then back to the right one before I finally got on the bus back home. I reached home like half an hour past my 10 o' clock curfew, but my mom didn't actually seem to care :/ Hah but in any case, I was sort of the one who asked for that curfew so yeah.

This week has been really, really good. Next week's gonna be a whole lot of NP D:
