Hey.

I miss the science camp. It honestly didn't feel as.. nerdy as I'd expected. In fact, it was actually really fun. Of course there were talks and workshops and all, but there were also two amazing race type games where we had to run all over the massive campus and complete silly little stations/solve science related problems. For the first amazing race on Monday night, we were put in groups of ten with students from other schools. Can I just say that some of the people in my group were very blessed, looks-wise? Hahahahah seriously. I like Team 6 ;) The second amazing race the next day was with our own schools and oh man, it felt like we were running a bloody marathon. My thighs ached the whole of yesterday because of that. I think we came in fifth, i'm not sure. But I never actually felt the need to win, so I'm fine with that. I'm just glad that we had a lot of fun :)

I enjoyed the sleeping part of the camp. Sofea and I spent more than an hour whispering to each other after lights out and the student facilitators had to come shut us up quite a few times. I think my already barely-there boobs got flatter that night, cause I basically slept on my front in a thin sleeping bag on hard wood hall floor for probably five hours straight.

I like how we played games like blow wind blow or that tree and squirrel game everytime we had some time to kill. I got called out for a forfeit during one of the blow wind blow games, though. That was um, pretty mortifying. But then again, when you think of it realistically, it's not as though that image of me and the other unfortunate forfeiters doing a banana dance would stick in anyone's minds except ours.

The end of the camp was a bit achy for me. Hwa Chong boy from my group was such a (insert word that aptly describes how my heart swoooooned at the sight of him) . Eurasian, slight accent, wore a nice-fitting black shirt that night. Sigh. I knew I was gonna miss all these people and at that point, I hated the fact that I'm just so goddamn SHY.

Two days is definitely not enough time.
