wanderlust

Yesterday's Frisbee competition at St Patrick's was......... um. We played four games, and scored one goal. In total. Hahahahaha but it was a lot of fun and really just too little a thing to get upset about.

After that we had lunch at Parkway and then I went to wander off on my own. I took a bus to Haji Lane, and I bought a book called On Subbing from The Haji. I've been lusting after this book because a while back I'd bought a couple of zines by the same author. In those zines he wrote about his battle with Crohn's disease. This book is about his experiences working with children with learning disabilities, behavioural problems, mental retardation and stuff like that. His style of writing is simple and it seems as though he didn't bother so much with an editor, but I like his sense of humour. I also love that he's vegan.

My favourite shop on Haji Lane at the moment is Vijitra. It's a pretty small shop with a pretty small collection of clothes, but I always love just being in there. Yesterday I fell in love with their tops with the pretty prints and this dress oh my god. I can't stop thinking about it. And for about $35..... K I'm getting it next weekend or something I don't care.

After Haji Lane I went to Bugis Junction. I walked around aimlessly for a while, and then because I suddenly felt like it, I went to Iluma to watch a movie. Yeah on my own. The only movie which was starting soon was Inception, so I watched that. I am horribly backdated and this was my first time watching it, but... I didn't really think it was that awesome. Okay no, I enjoyed the movie and everything, but somehow I just couldn't appreciate it as much as some people I've seen.

Today we're going Raya visiting. Second house for me this year. I am totally serious.

Oh and a vegetarian restaurant just opened like right across the road from my school. HAHA vegetarianism is everywhere man. Everywhere around me ah at least.
