I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth.. LOL JK I shaved it all off

Hahaha okay lah not really - I just got a sidecut. My hairstyle is similar to Kate Lanphear's in my previous post, only I don't have half my head buzzed off like hers. It's also (unfortunately) a lot less obvious because my hair's all black. The hairdresser only got about a quarter of my hair shaved off, but who knows, maybe you'll see more of my scalp by the time the weekend comes round. The left side of my head is kind of the same length as it used to be, just thinned out a little. That might be shortened come Sunday too, cause it's just strange to have a bob on one side and very little hair on the other. I feel like a female Win Butler though, and it's a nice feeling hahaha.

Aaaanyway, today I went for the TPC at school with my mother. We went to Parkway for breakfast, then Haji Lane and Bali Lane afterwards(hahaha we really got nowhere else to go man). I had my lunch of hummus and pita bread at The Muzium Cafe, and then we got drinks at Gogo Rama. Both shops are on Bali Lane. Gogo Rama is this quaint little cafe/art gallery/design products store that, I'm telling you earnestly, you have to visit one day. The cafe part of it only sits about ten people, but that just makes the place all the cosier. And sitting by the window on the second floor of a little shophouse, watching people walk past below while you eat cakes with quirky french music floating around the space and very pretty yet slightly unsettling art hanging on the walls.. just makes you feel like you're part of some closely-guarded secret, tucked away from the rest of the world. It's one of those things which make you feel special, even if for nothing more than just being aware of its existence.

One of the owners, Cheryl, talked to us for a while. She said I had nice hair when I walked past her earlier on. Guess what, it turns out that she has a sidecut as well! Hahahaha after a day of disapproving and/or amused stares, I felt kinda cool :B According to Cheryl, Gogo Rama might start supporting local artists by the end of the year and I'm welcome to submit something. Even though I barely consider myself an artist~, I'd like to give it a shot. If something I create is in line with their theme, they may just choose to feature it in their shop. I'm not really hoping for too much, but the idea of having your work hanging (and being sold) in one of the coolest mini art galleries you've seen, and at 15 years old.. dreamy is it not?

One more week 'til I'm a free bitch, baby.
