We're just a million little gods causing rainstorms turning every good thing to rust

It has become a regular thing for me to just set off for nowhere in particular on my own now. A lot of people are surprised that I do this so often, but I don't know.. I actually enjoy the solitude. They ask if I'm not worried about looking like a loner. I guess I'm not, cause first of all, that's just too insecure. Second, so what?

Being on your own gives you a lot of freedom. You go wherever you want to go, because you are not restricted by another person's wants. You walk at your own pace, no trying to catch up or slow down to accommodate to someone's speed. You aren't kept from buying something that you really like and can afford just because a friend who has vastly different taste has a negative comment about it. You have the opportunity to really think, and to form your own opinions of things you see because you are not influenced by another person's ideas. You don't have to deal with awkward silences. You relax.

Saturday was spent like this - on my own. I went to Haji Lane once more, then Dhoby Ghaut, and in the evening I met up with my mom at her friend's place. We played with her two new kittens which are so goddamn cute *_* We brought them downstairs to walk them too! They're called Pika and Toto hahahah so cute! (this is me smitten)

Today(yesterday?), Soufi and I finally went out together. We walked a lot today. We went to Bugis, Dhoby Ghaut, Orchard, Holland Village... Yeah walking is good. And Cineleisure is very good because they have such awesome shops there and because I have my name twice in the highscores for Anarchy in the UK on Guitar Hero!!! Medium la, but still! (hehehe this is me bangga :B) We spent a lot of cash on food today, from frozen yoghurt to best fries forever to jelly bellies to wendy's I needa stop eating!!! Too much of my allowance goes to food every month.

OK I had a great day today (because going out with people has its own set of perks as well lah) but extended studies starts in 5 hours so hello feelings of being caged in.

Good night!
